DailyFeats is a site that allows you to earn points towards rewards and charity donations while building good personal habits.
The site's stated purpose is "to make positive action part of everyday life.” As a user, you can choose from several good deeds, called 'feats,' in categories ranging from global activism to housecleaning, tailoring your daily feats to those areas you want to work on. Feats may include 'make a donation,’ ‘hug someone,’ 'workout, or 'do the dishes.'
You can create challenges for yourself and other users to reach a goal, like saving money or living a less stressful life. Members can also seek support through conversations with other users or Daily Feats' various communities for new parents, job seekers, activists or volunteers.
Every time you 'check in' a good deed, points are awarded. The greater, or more difficult the act, the more points you earn. Rewards include gift cards and discount coupons, or you can use your accumulated points to donate to organizations such as the American Heart Association and Save the Children.
The site is free to use and check-ins operate on an honor system. DailyFeats is supported by its partners, who also endorse certain feats on the site that connect with their values. (Monster.com sponsors 'look for a job,' for example.) Partners also include non-paying nonprofits that support DailyFeats's goal of helping people live more positive lives.
