On Friday, YouTube, along with See3 Communications and the Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN), announced the winners of the fourth annual DoGooder Video Awards.

The awards recognized the best nonprofit and cause videos of 2013 in four different categories. This year was also the first time videos were accepted from individuals as well as nonprofit organizations

The Rainforest Alliance's humorous take on conservation awareness, Follow the Frog, took home the Best Nonprofit Video Award, which honors a nonprofit's use of video to make change.

How to Shock a Celebrity, the Sabin Vaccine Institute's effective video for their campaign to end seven Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD) won in the Impact X category.

The Funny For Good Award went to Pathfinder's No Joke. Choice Matters Everywhere, which addresses the importance of easy access to reproductive health care for women.

The Change Agent Award for individual effort was given to 350km Message for Women with Ovarian Cancer created by Raf Bauer, who set out on a 350-kilometer walk across Scotland to raise awareness and funds for Target Ovarian Cancer after losing his mother to the disease.

A panel of video experts picked four finalists for each category from nearly 1,000 video submissions. The winners were chosen from the finalists by public vote.

Winners in each category will get $3,500 from sponsor Cisco, be featured on YouTube's Spotlight Channel and receive free registration to NTEN's 2014 Nonprofit Technology Conference.
